Normally I like to let the Stained Glass do the talking, but this submission was really curious to me. It was not immediately evident who was depicted. After an exchange with Anonymous, and consulting the aid of "a parish secretary and one helpful deacon", this answer was provided:
"Child Jesus - The Priest:
Many a young boy, once he became an Altar boy, would go home and 'play priest' by setting up an altar on his bureau and using two towels pinned over his shoulder as a vestment.
This stained glass window portrays the Child Jesus 'playing priest' ready to give Himself in the Eucharist. It reminds us of the happy event each year when the little children make their first Communion."
This is a very unique and impressive example of Stained Glass, and I am grateful to Anonymous for sharing it!
